We inquired into a chosen technology and the technology I chose was a computer.

What Is A Computer And How Is It Used?

A computer is a device that accepts information(in the form of digitalised data)and manipulates it for some result based on program,software or sequence of instructions on how the data is to be processed.

Computers are used to store and retrieve information.It is used to type documents,send emails,play games and also browse on the web.Computers are used to control large and small machines which were controlled by humans.They also are used in homes for entertainment and reading.

How do computers communicate different ideas/beliefs and how has it changed?

Computers can email to communicate different ideas/beliefs.They can also use social media and upload videos to communicate different ideas/beliefs.When computers first came out,you couldn’t communicate in any way.When a new computer came out you could email people and that was the first you could communicate different ideas/beliefs.After a couple new models of computers social media came out and it was a huge hit.People could communicate their different ideas/beliefs way easier and everyone used it.Then a new computer came out with a new way of communication and it was skype.Skype was the first way of communication were you could see the other person you were talking to’s face.Everyone one was very impressed with this new way of communicating different ideas/beliefs.More models came out of computers but none with a new way of communication until 2005 and that’s when YouTube came out.Youtube enabled you to upload videos to communicate your different ideas/beliefs.Other people can comment on your video and they tell you what they think of your ide/belief.

Advantages and disadvantages of computers

Computers have advantages and disadvantages.Multitasking is one of the major advantages of computers.Humans can perform multiple task,multiple operation and calculate different problems within a few seconds,computers can perform trillions of instructions per second.Now computers are not just calculating device.Now a days computers have a very important role in society.One of the main advantages of computers is its speed,which helps humans complete tasks in seconds.All the operations can be performed very fast because of its speed elsewise it takes a long time to perform the task.As we know advantages come with disadvantages.Viruses and hacking are simply a unauthorised access over a computer for some illicit purpose,viruses are being transferred from email etatchments.Viewing an infected website advertisement through removable devices like USB etc.Online cyber crime means computers and networks may have used in order to commit crime.Cyber stalking and identified theft are the points which comes under online cyber crimes.

Recommendations

I believe computers are the future of the world and everyone should have one.Computers help people so much with their daily tasks and computers make everything easier.I think computers should be available to everyone in the world to help them with their life and their tasks.
