Today at school an exclusive producer from ABC Podcast came and told us all about podcast and how they include technology to help them use podcast.

A podcast is audio played on your phone. People use podcast to listen to what they want, when they want.

She told us all about the advantages and disadvantages of podcast. Some of the disadvantages are…..

-In the modern world, people enjoy images and podcast do not include images                                                                                                                      -Hard to edit and record.                                                                                 —-Difficult to find an audience

Some of the Advantages are……

-There are heaps of different genres for people to watch.                           –It is easy to find something you are interested in.                                       – Podcast are on demand.                                                                                    -Good for old people, because there eyesight might be going bad or they do not enjoy images.

We also discussed what the difference between podcast and radios. I found this very in interesting because I barely knew anything about podcast and radios.

-Radios are live, podcast are not.                                                                      -Podcast are on phones/App.                                                               —Podcast are on demand and radio are not.
