Today two people in our class 5C are here to talk to us about Makey Makey and what it is. Makey Makey is a type of circlet bopard that has cords attached to it which allows you to attach the cords into anything you want. For example if you attach the cords into a banana and you put on  computer a setting for example piano setting when you touch the banana it plays a piano note and there’s is like boho drums and very fun and cool settings that you can pick to play anything!!

Today i learnt that Makey Makey is a cool machine that allows you sometimes to play piano notes on bananas !!Makey Makey is a very fun and educational piece of technology !!

Today, June 20th a girl called Kat came in to talk to us about her invention. Kat and her friends came up with an invention to help her friends who had a diese to play video games, They thought that everyone should get a fair choice of playing what they wants so they made a controller on a rectangle box shaped with the buttons spaced out so he could press them easier.

I learnt that everyone should get a fair choice of of playing what they dream of and that thinking behind the box is an even better thing!

Today a lady called mrs Kelly came into today to explain to us about pod casts.

She told us that podcasts can be used and listened to in many different ways, we even got a chance to listen and try out some podcasts!!!

I learnt that podcasts are used to entertain people and to persuade people to take action and to get active. Podcasts left you listen to whatever you want whenever you want and that you can and will always find something that you can watch that you will enjoy.

Podcasts are entertaining and are filling the world with laughter  and soon podcasts all around the world are going to be the biggest hit.

Mr Ivet came  in today to talk too us about drones. I learnt that drones are useful in many ways when they don’t seem like it. Drones can be used for delivering pizza in New Zealand and for farmers to herd the cattle. Drones can also be used at the beach for live savers such as to rescue people to locate were they are and for shark spotting to warn the beachcomber residents. I learnt that drones are a good use of technology and are very useful. Drones are a very educational piece of equipment and soon teach us to further ideas for the furture.

Last week wow did three rotations, Sphero’s , coding and learning about technology.

In Sphero’s i learnt that just one little ball can use lots of energy and that using an app gives you the ability to control a Sphero!!

In coding i learnt that there is De bugging (programming and fixing errors) and Algorithm (A set of instructions to complete a task. ).

In the activity learning about technology i learnt that unusual objects that don’t seem to be can actually be technology!!
